Care + Cleaning Guide

Clean pouches, lighter footprint.

Your Take Monday pieces are designed to last as long as you. Keeping them clean helps them shine and reduce the need for disposable plastic bags. With a little care, your pouches can stay clear, polished, and ready for every trip.

Cleaning Your Clear Pouches

Our transparent biodegradable plastic pouches are designed to be durable and easy to clean, but light cloudiness, fine scratches, or product residue can happen over time as a natural side effect of biodegradable TPU.

For a natural clean, mix equal parts white vinegar and water. Dampen a soft microfibre cloth with the mixture and gently wipe the surface. To begin, test on a small, discreet area first and then work your way through the entire panel. Use a dry section of the cloth to buff away any remaining moisture. Make sure to remove all moisture as additional stains

For tougher marks or light scratches, you may use a plastic-safe polish with a soft microfiber cloth. Always test on a small, discreet area first and avoid abrasive pads or rough fabrics.

How to clean

Step 1: Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a small bowl or spray bottle.

Step 2: Lightly dampen a soft cloth with the mixture. Do not soak the pouch.

Step 3: Gently wipe the clear panels in small circles until clean.

Step 4: Buff dry with a clean section of the cloth.

Step 5: Repeat as needed for makeup residue, fingerprints, or everyday travel marks.

Fabric and trim care

For canvas, recycled nylon, or fabric trims, we recommend using micellar water. Lightly dab and allow the pouch to air dry fully before storing.

Avoid excessive heat

Please avoid leaving your pouch in direct sunlight for long periods, or placing hot styling tools directly inside. Excess heat may cause warping, fading, or damage to the clear panels.

Avoid harsh chemicals

Stay away from alcohol, acetone, bleach, and strong solvents, as these may damage the clear material or trim. For regular cleaning, stick with a soft cloth, micellear water, or the vinegar-and-water method above.
