Our Story

More than a decade ago, beginning in 2013, we were working in TV production, living out of suitcases, and chasing the hottest stories across cities, airports, and hotel rooms. One day, we’d be shooting in Morocco; the next, rushing through airport security with a cold black coffee in one hand and tangled chargers in the other. Travel was exciting, but the stress of packing never was.
Everywhere we went, it was always the same: crinkled ziplock bags, leaking liquids, wet swimwear next to expensive tech, and the endless mess of cables buried at the bottom of a carry-on. Nothing was considered. Nothing was designed to last. So somewhere in between long-haul flights and unpacking in tiny hotel bathrooms, the idea for Take Monday quietly began.
We wanted to create something better. Something practical, but also beautiful. Something that felt less disposable and more dependable: accessories designed for the realities of modern travel, rather than the chaos of it.
At Take Monday, we’re firm believers in the long weekend. Our collection of ultra-lightweight packing accessories is designed to do the hard work for you; all that’s left is to choose the destination. Every stitch has been inspired by real travel experiences from the layovers to the last-minute gate changes. We've packed and repacked more times than we can count, and built each piece to solve a problem we actually had.
Made with biodegradable TPU, our leather-free pouches and cases are vegan, washable, watertight and remarkably durable. Clear compartments keep everything visible and organised, so your iPhone never has to share space with sandy bikinis or leaking sun cream again. Designed to slip effortlessly into handbags, backpacks, gym bags and suitcases alike, they’re built for wherever life gets a little untidy.
Perfect for the airport, the gym, the beach, or simply everyday life, each versatile piece has been created with the messiness of modern routines in mind — because frankly, nobody has time to pack properly anymore.
We believe the things we carry every day should be made with care. Not just for how they look or function, but for the people who make them and the world they move through with us.
From the very beginning, Take Monday was created as an alternative to disposable culture. We had spent years watching single-use plastics pile up in airports, hotel rooms and production vans, and knew we didn’t want to create yet another product destined for the landfill.
That’s why we choose to make responsibly wherever possible. We work with a factory that sources fabrics locally, helping to shorten the supply chain and reduce unnecessary transport, thus reducing impact on carbon emissions. We prioritise recycled and biodegradable materials where we can, and all of our packaging is made from recycled materials.
Just as importantly, we believe responsible production begins with people. We’ve partnered with a small factory of 49 workers and obtained both BSCI and Sedex audit reports to that ensure ethical working standards are upheld from fair wages and safe working conditions to strict policies against child labour and human trafficking.
For us, sustainability isn’t a marketing exercise or a seasonal trend. It’s about delivering a better choice, thoughtfully and transparently, one product at a time.
